The most popular car McLaren 720S is nearly as extreme as a Senna

The most popular car mc learn Since it’s been assumed about twenty-five minutes since McLaren revealed a new extremely fast car with controversial styling, the folks at German supercar tuning firm Novitec have stepped in while Woking has a coffee break. Meet the Novitec 720S N-Largo.Based on McLaren’s 720S Super Series model, but featuring inspiration from the McLaren Senna, desert attack aircraft and hearing aids (not really) the 720S N-Largo is one heck of a comprehensive makeover for the rightly-lauded 720S.Novitec’s new upgrade package tailored to the 720S Coupe is considerably more in-your-face than the discreet kit launched a few months ago as that one brought only an array of subtle tweaks over the standard car. This time around, the flashy makeover brings a significantly wider body (+60 mm / 2.36 inches at the front and +130 mm / 5.1 inches at the rear) complemented by a custom suspension lowering the ride height by 35 mm (1.38 inches). Every single body panel has been, um, lovingly changed. Please note the deeper splitter, a roof scoop, new intakes on the rear haunches and a longer double-decker active spoiler. Different wheels, too. Luckily, they've not painted the colour of school dinner mashed potato. So, the N-Largo rides 35mm lower than the standard £220k 720S, and it’s a massive 60mm wider – at the front. Walk to the rump and you’re talking 130mm of extra width justify this obnoxious girth, it’s got even more power to punt its owners along a Gumball Rally. Power from the 4.0-litre bi-turbo V8 is up from 711bhp (which felt like enough, last time we checked) to 795bhp, while torque rises from 568lb ft (again, that’s plenty thanks) to a staggering 648lb ft. This is still channeling to just the rear wheels.
